Serving the Camden County community since 1938, The Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Christ the King Parish is here for you.
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul offers tangible assistance to those in need on a person-to-person basis. It is this personalized involvement that makes the work of the Society unique. This aid may take the form of intervention, consultation, or often through direct dollar or in-kind service. An essential precept of the Society’s work is to provide help while conscientiously maintaining the confidentiality and dignity of those who are served. The Society recognizes that it must assume, also, a role of advocacy for those who are defenseless or voiceless. Since our inception we've helped thousands of community members and distributed over $100,000 in assistance to those in need.
Programs in our community
Meal Prep
Food insecurity is a reality that our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ face. We come together every third Saturday of each month at Joe's Place in Camden. We are looking for individuals to help pick up, cook and serve food to community members. Click below to email Kate about your interest in helping.
Food Pantry
We combat food insecurity with quarterly assistance at the Cherry Hill Food Pantry to over 600 families. Volunteers are needed at the food pantry to pick up food from local stores, stock the shelves, pack groceries and load monthly groceries into vehicles.
